Ashen Capital becomes founding shareholder to Oren Properties - 19 September 2024
Ashen Capital has joined a number of well-known industry figures to become a founding shareholder of Oren Properties.
Oren Properties is the new company of Andy Gulliford and Mike Logan, who have known each other and worked together for 20 years. Andy was with SEGRO Plc (formerly Slough Estates) for 19 years, the last decade as Chief Operating Officer and Main Board Director. Mike was a Partner with Nabarro (latterly CMS) for 25 years and led the firm’s real estate practice as both an Executive Committee and Board member.
Together they have over 70 years’ experience in the real estate market and have jointly completed numerous investment, development and corporate transactions in the logistics, warehouse and light industrial sector.
Operating in a severely constrained market in terms of supply, it will capitalise on high occupier demand from a wide range of businesses in different sectors to secure enhanced rental income and capital appreciation. Recent property re-pricing, due to interest rate rises, has given the business an attractive entry level to create a portfolio of buildings and estates. Excellent asset management, high environmental credentials and close attention to the assessment of risk are integral to the business.
