Merrow Wood, with backing from Ashen Capital, has secured planning for 48 homes in Crawley Down - November 2025

Ashen Capital is pleased to announce that, through its backing of Merrow Wood, it has successfully achieved planning for 48 new homes on Burleigh Lane, Crawley Down.

The site was promoted on behalf of the landowner to become part of the Mid Sussex Development Plan, through its inclusion in the Site Allocations 2022. Subsequently, Merrow Wood submitted a detailed planning application for 48 new homes, including a 30% affordable homes.

The scheme is in a highly sustainable location and will deliver a quality design and layout, providing landscaped corridors connecting the scheme to surrounding residential development and to the facilities in Crawley Down.
